Kinderhaus Local Heritage Museum

Since 1992 the Local Heritage Museum has been housed in Münster's oldest residential building, the Pfründnerhaus in Kinderhaus. The museum sheds light on the origins and early history of the region, the history of the poorhouse, the church, and schools in Münster, as well as old handicrafts (cobbling, washing, baking, weaving, spinning, etc.) in Kinderhaus. Furthermore, there is a wedding room and exhibition space (nativity exhibition, art exhibitions, lectures, antique markets, etc.).

Sunday: 3 pm – 6 pm (in winter till 5 pm), and also by appointment.
